Dawson County authorities have arrested a Cumming man after a truck was driven into a Dawsonville Wal-Mart early Sunday morning.

Dawson County Sheriff's Captain Tony Wooten said 49-year-old Jason Wade Davis was arrested after a white Ford Ranger was found driven into the rear of the store on Power Center Drive at around 5:00 a.m.

Davis was arrested on a misdemeanor probation violation and was turned over to Forsyth County authorities. He faces one first degree count of criminal property damage but Wooten said more charges are likely.

The Sheriff's Office had announced that the abandoned Ranger had been found via a social media post.
