Lanier Islands Resort will be recruiting a number of seasonal and permanent workers with the help of the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) for the next three Saturdays - March 12, 19 and 26.

The company said it is looking specifically for admissions clerks, bartenders, concession-stand operators, front-desk personnel, lifeguards, pool attendants, security guards, servers and retail associates for the upcoming summer vacation season.

Applicants should bring a resume, military identification card and a driver’s license to the recruitment events, which will all be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 7000 Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford. GDOL staff will be on site to help screen applicants.

Company officials remind job seekers who are 16 and 17 years of age that they must have a work permit to apply.

Experience is preferred for most positions. Salaries will depend on the position and will be discussed with the applicant during the interview process.

Job seekers planning to attend the recruitment are encouraged to visit www.employgeorgia.com to create an account and upload or create a resume. Having an Employ Georgia account and resume expedites the interview process.
For additional information about the recruitment, contact the GDOL’s Gainesville Career Center at (770) 535-5484.
