Gainesville educator recognized for her work

Patricia Henderson, Special Education Coordinator of the Gainesville City School System, is the recipient of the 2016 Philip Wright Award from Pioneer RESA.   She and fourteen other award recipients within the Pioneer RESA region were recognized at the 15th Annual Philip Wright Awards Ceremony held recently in Cleveland.
 
The award recognizes individuals for their service, commitment and advocacy of children with disabilities.  The award honors the legacy created by Wright, highlighting his commitment to improving educational services for students with disabilities in school districts in the region.
 
Pioneer RESA https://www.pioneerresa.org/AboutUs.php is a Cleveland-based support organization serving 15 public school systems in northeast Georgia.
