The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has made an arrest in a homicide that happened in Toccoa earlier this year.

The agency said in a press statement Marqkeela Lawain Hill, 35, was arrested in Douglasville Monday afternoon and charged in the death of Tomas Colbert, 21, of Toccoa.

The victim's body was found at a residence on Falls Road in Toccoa on February 7, 2016. At the time, Toccoa Police Chief Tim Jarrell said Colbert sustained a number of gunshot wounds.

Hill is charged with one count of murder.

Investigators did not say what the motive in the incident was.

The Toccoa Police Department and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office assisted the GBI with the arrest.
