Authorities in Hall County are searching for a suspect who robbed the Dollar General store on Gainesville highway Saturday afternoon in Buford.

The suspect, described as a black male, entered the store around 4:30 p.m. and flashed a gun that was concealed on his waistband, according to Hall County Sheriff's Deputy Nicole Bailes.

He then slid the cashier a note, demanding money from the register.

The suspect left the scene with an undiscloced amount of cash in a black Chrysler 300 passenger car, said Bailes in an email.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

Deputies are working to get a clear picture of the suspect from the store's surveillance video.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
