Thursday wreck near Cleveland hurts three

CLEVELAND — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck Thursday afternoon on Town Creek Road west of Cleveland. 

The collision was reported to 9-1-1 dispatch at 1:46 p.m., and at first it was   believed two people were trapped in one of the vehicles.   

One of the vehicles was traveling east on Town Creek Road and collided with the second vehicle that was crossing from William Gilreath Road to Virgil Hunt Road. 

Complete details of exactly what happen have not been released by the White County Sheriff’s Office, which worked the accident.

All three of the injured were transported to the hospital. The driver of one of the vehicles was not hurt seriously.
