Hall County firefighters were called to the scene of a residential fire in the northern reaches of Flowery Branch Friday night.

Fire Capt. Zach Brackett said via email that crews arriving at Falcon Parkway just north of Martin Road discovered a "1,200-square-foot home that was approximately 20% involved" with fire.

Firefighters "initiated an aggressive interior attack" and were able to bring the fire under control, with Brackett adding that crews remained on scene for a time in order to verify that the fire had not reached any additional areas of the home.

Brackett said the occupant of the home "was able to exit the structure" before firefighters arrived on scene. No injuries were reported.

The exact cause and origin of the fire are unknown at this time.
