Gainesville schools receive new vehicle from state driver ed group

Just this week, Georgia Driver’s Education Commission Chairman Harris Blackwood presented the keys to a Honda Accord to the Gainesville City School System.

School District Superintendent Dr. Wanda Creel, School Board Chair Dr. Delores Diaz and Gainesville High School Principal Tom Smith participated in the June 1 ceremony at Gainesville High School.

The car was purchased with a grant from the Georgia Driver’s Education Commission and will be used to train driver's education students at GHS.

The Georgia Driver's Education Commission is a division of the Governor's Office of Highway Safety (GOHS).
