Sawnee Electric Membership Corporation (Sawnee EMC) announced Thursday it has received high marks in the J.D. Power 2016 Electric Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study, which was released Wednesday.
In the Cooperative category, Sawnee is ranked fourth in the nation with a Customer Satisfaction Index score of 741, whereas the average electric utility score nationwide is 680. It saw its overall CSI score increase by eight (8) points from this same survey conducted by J.D. Power in 2015.
“We feel honored and appreciative of the score our members have given us on this national survey” said Michael A. Goodroe, President and CEO.
Sawnee serves approximately 169,000 accounts across its seven-county service territory in northeast Georgia.
