CLEVELAND -- Two men qualified this week to run in a special election for a post on the White County Board of Education.
The special election is scheduled in conjunction with the November General Election.
Brock Pulliam, who currently serves in an interim capacity on the board, qualified Monday. Charlie Bryson, a fire investigator, qualified Wednesday.
Qualifying concluded at 12:00 p.m. Friday.
The special election will be non-partisan and fill a vacancy on the board created by the resignation of Roger Fitzpatrick who ran for Congress.
The winner will serve the remainder of term through Dec. 31, 2018.
