One the first day of qualifying for a vacant post on the Clermont Town Council, one person signed up for the election.
Robin Brown filled out qualifying paperwork Monday afternoon, according to Town Clerk Sandra Helton.
Qualifying for the post left vacant by the resignation of Eric Thomas continues Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days.
