JOHNS CREEK, Ga. (AP) Authorities have arrested two suspects who they say forced their way in a home in an affluent North Fulton suburb and attacked two women.
Police told Atlanta media outlets that the two armed men entered the Johns Creek home Tuesday afternoon, demanding jewelry and money from a woman who lived there and her housekeeper.
Johns Creek Police said the suspects searched the home for over 40 minutes, and at some point, Capt. Chris Byers said the men struck both women in the head with their guns.
Investigators said the suspects fled the scene in two of the family's cars, ditching one of the vehicles down the street from the home.
Hours later, the suspects were found inside the second car and taken into custody in Atlanta. The two are to be turned over to Johns Creek police. Their names and charges haven't been released.
