DORAVILLE, Ga. (AP) The FBI is seeking help from the public to identify a man who robbed a bank just northeast of Atlanta.

Authorities say the man, armed with a black handgun, robbed the NOA Bank on Buford Highway in Doraville on Wednesday afternoon. He was wearing black T-shirt, black pants, and a blue bandana covering his face.

The FBI said in a statement that outside video surveillance camera captured the suspect walking up to the bank before he put the bandana on.

The suspect was last seen running across railroad tracks that run parallel to Buford Highway behind the bank. Authorities say he ran into a wooded area toward an apartment complex off of Winters Park Dr. in Doraville.

The FBI is asking anyone with information to contact its Atlanta field office or Crime Stoppers.
