Suwanee City Council is considering the approval of a townhome development along Peachtree Industrial Boulevard near the Sherwin Williams store.

The development by Halifax Enterprises, LLC would feature 49 townhomes on 6.1 acres of property, said Marty Allen, city manager.

"It went to the [Suwanee] Planning Commission this month. They recommended approval, and it goes to the city council" Oct. 24, said Allen.

The homes would likely be priced in the mid-300's.

Developers are looking to re-zone the property from commercial to residential, according to city documents.

Council will likely give it a final vote at the regularly scheduled voting meeting, which will be held at 6 p.m. at Suwanee City Hall.

The property sits at 760 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, according to city documents.
