The Braselton Mayor and Council recently recognized the graduates of the town's latest Citizens’ Academy and presented them with their certificates.

In its eighth year, the Citizens’ Academy convened monthly from May through October. Classes focused on town management, finances, police and court, planning and development, libraries, roads, utilities, agencies and authorities  and economic development.

Five people completed the academy:  Chad Bingham, Teresa Funari, Randy Givens, Jessica Powell and Debra Swantek.

Applications for the 2018 academy will be available in the spring.
