Two houseboats and a tug boat at Aqualand Marina were destroyed by fire early Friday morning.

Hall County Fire Services Capt. Zachary Brackett said firefighters were called to Dock Q around 5:15 a.m.

"Our first arriving units found two houseboats and a tug boat heavily involved in fire," Bracket said. "Two additional boats were damaged during the fire."

Officials put the value of one house boat at $50,000 and the tug boat at $10,000.

"Values of the other involved vessels are still being determined," Brackett said.

As of 6:30 a.m., the main body of fire had been extinguished, but crews remained on the scene to extinguish hot spots.

Brackett said there were no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
