The Gainesville Board of Education will meet in executive session Saturday as the search for a new schools superintendent continues.
The board will meet behind closed doors "to review the candidates for the superintendent position with its consultant," according to the meeting announcement.
The current superintendent, Wanda Creel, announced last September that she plans to step down when her contract expires June 30.
