Motorists traveling on Ga. 53 between Hall and Forsyth counties overnight Tuesday and Wednesday will have their drive affected by continued construction on Boling Bridge over Lake Lanier.
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) says crews will be installing temporary concrete barrier walls and pouring another substructure support for the new bridge weather permitting.
A single lane closure will allow this work to occur, and traffic will be directed by flagging operators. The work is for two consecutive nights, February 28 and March 1 from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.
The single lane closure will be in effect beginning at Dogwood Trail and ending at Little Hall Park.
