CLEVELAND — A White County man died as a result of a single-vehicle wreck north of Cleveland early Thursday.
The wreck happened about 4 a.m. on Asbestos Road near Dukes Creek Baptist Church, according to White County Chief Deputy Bob Ingram.
A 1995 Nissan pickup truck ran off the road and overturned, trapping the driver, according to Ingram.
The accident report is not complete and full details are not available, Ingram said, adding that the driver died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash.
White County Coroner Ricky Barrett identified the victim as James Henry Schmitt, 73, of Helen.
