Tuesday, May 9, is the opening day for the year for the Hall County Farmers Market.
The market, which is located on Crescent Drive just off Jesse Jewell Parkway at I-985, is open every Tuesday afternoon and Saturday morning through the month of September. Tuesday hours are 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday hours are 7 a.m. until noon, unless farmers sell out before that time.
The Hall County Farmers Market opened in the 1970s - at Lakeshore Mall - and moved to its current location in the 1990s.
