Both West Hall Middle and West Hall High schools were locked down briefly Friday morning on the advice of the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
An email from the school district office said the person responsible for prompting the lockdown was arrested at his home as the result of a possible domestic incident.
The schools were on lockdown from 8:25 to 8:40 a.m.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation.
