GBI releases identities of man and woman found dead in Habersham County shooting

The GBI has released the identities of the two people found shot to death Sunday night in Habersham County.
 
Investigators said 70-year-old Charles Roger Ansley and 34-year-old Margaret Loudermilk Ansley are believed to be victims of murder-suicide. At this point, investigators do not know which person was the shooter.

The two are family members, GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles confirmed to AccessWDUN.
 
The GBI said autopsies are scheduled for both victims on Wednesday, Oct. 10.
 
Habersham County Sheriff's Office deputies were first called to the residence on Mud Creek Road in the Alto area around 6 p.m. to investigate a reported shooting. The GBI said its agents were contacted at 6:40 p.m. to take over the investigation.
