Sunday's race at Talladega Superspeedway proved that the only thing you can predict in a race at Talladega is that you can't predict what will happen at the end of a race at Talladega.

While Kurt Busch ran out of gas, Aric Almirola powered by with a turn and a half to go and went on to record his second career victory.

This week's Hard Left Turn podcast looks at all of the action from Sunday's 1000Bulbs.com 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, including:

-Aric Almirola makes up for the heartbreaking near miss at Dover by driving to the victory at Talladega, punching his ticket to the Round of 8 in the process.

-Kurt Busch needed about a cupful of gas to score his second victory of the season.  Afterwards, he had questions about a couple of calls by NASCAR that he felt could have cost him.

-Stewart-Haas Racing dominated Sunday's race in a way we've not seen in a long, long time.

-The so called "Big 3" all had issues of their own on Sunday.  Can they rebound going into Sunday's Playoff cutoff race at Kansas?

-Speaking of the cutoff race, we preview Sunday's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway, and we break down the Playoff situation going in.
