As Hall County Parks & Leisure works on a new parks facility master plan, parks system leaders are looking for some citizen via an online survey.
"A Hall County Parks Facility Master Plan will be instrumental in helping our community chart a course for the direction of its parks system in the years to come," Hall County Parks Director Mike Little said in a press statement. "We are strongly encouraging citizens to participate in this process so that the end result is reflective of Hall County as a whole."
The survey asks participants questions about their involvement in the current parks system and what they would like to see as far as future development is concerned.
The survey is available at http://projectsurveys.com/ or via a link on the Hall County website www.hallcounty.org.
Participants in the survey will be entered into a drawing to receive a prize of their choice. The prizes include a family membership to one of Hall County Parks & Leisure's community centers, free registration for a youth or adult sport program and a 3-night stay at River Forks Park and Campground. Five lucky winners will be randomly selected from the list of survey participants.
The final master plan will include an overall assessment of Hall County Parks & Leisure's current facilities, programs and efforts. It will also identify current and future needs of the community as well as identify potential land acquisition and funding opportunities.
The estimated completion date for the plan is June 2019.
