UPDATE: Gwinnett police investigate deadly bar fight

Update 9:50 a.m.

The second person found dead in the parking lot of a Duluth bar has been identified as Malik Jett, 26. Gwinnett police detectives said they are unsure if Jett was involved in an altercation that lead to the double-shooting outside of the Prime Bar and Grill. 

Update 8:30 a.m.

One of the men killed at a Duluth bar on Saturday morning was the co-owner of the business. 

Gwinnett County Police Department detectives said they think James Kim, 47, was caught in the crossfire of a gunfight and was not involved in the altercation at the Prime Bar and Grill. 

Detectives have not yet released the identity of the other man who was killed. Detectives are actively working to develop leads on the suspect or suspects in the early-morning shooting

A bar fight turned deadly in Duluth early Saturday morning, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.

Police responded at 2:30 a.m. to a report of shots fired at Prime Bar and Grill on Day Drive in unincorporated Duluth. When they arrived, they found two adult men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead. 

Police said the investigation so far shows the shooting was part of a fight that started inside the bar and then moved to the sidewalk and parking lot outside the building.

Right now, investigators continue to look for information from witnesses who might have seen any part of the incident. Witnesses are asked to contact GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300 with any information.  To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.  Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.  The case number for this incident is 18-090959.

The identities of those who were killed are being withheld until relatives can be notified.
