Suspect in Duluth bar shooting surrenders to police

A man wanted in connection with a double fatality shooting outside a Duluth bar over the weekend has turned himself in at the Gwinnett County Detention Center.

Gwinnett County Police Sgt. Jake Smith said Samuel Songsy surrended to officer around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14. Song

Songsy, 23, had been wanted for questioning after two men were shot and killed at the Prime Bar and Grill on Day Drive in unincorporated Duluth. The deadly incident happened aroundf 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. Warrants had been taken out for aggravated assault in the case. 

Killed in the incident were Malik Jett, 26, and James Kim, 47. Kim was a co-owner of the business. 

Detectives have released no other details in Songsy's arrest.
