Among the 41 members of Governor Elect Brian Kemp's transition team is a Gainesville native who founded a group called Georgia Republicans for the Future, a group that supports nondiscrimination across the state.

Allen Fox, who now lives in Atlanta, is an advocate for LGBT rights, according to a profile in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

In his brief comments Monday morning, Kemp noted that his "Georgians First Committee" is a diverse group. The committee is comprised of community activists, business leaders, current and former political figures and some members of his campaign team.

The committee members are:

Tim Fleming – Chief of Staff

David Dove – Transition Director

Jeremy Brand – Senior Advisor

Jamie Reynolds – Co-Chair

Harold Reynolds – Co-Chair, Budget

Chuck Harper – Co-Chair, Appointments

Alec Poitevint – Co-Chair, Government Operations

Mark Middleton – Co-Chair, Policy
