United Way of Hall County has unveiled a seasonal promotion aimed at helping provide Christmas toys for the less fortunate children in the community.
It's called the Christmas Promise Store and is a joint effort also involving Family Promise Hall County and WomenSource.
The goal is to offer affordable toys parents can purchase at "vastly" discounted prices. The hope, according to United Way, is to still provide toys for kids in need at Christmas, but with the added "gift" of "dignity" for parents.
New toys made be donated and left at the Family Promise Day Center or at the United Way office at 527 Oak Street. There are also ways you can donate online. Click here for more information on that and other details about the Christmas Promise Store.
