Boleman named interim principal at Oakwood Elementary School

The Hall County Board of Education has approved Jeremy Boleman as the Interim Principal at Oakwood Elementary School, effective immediately. 

Board members approved the recommendation from Superintendent Will Schofield at their meeting Monday night.

Boleman, a 2002 graduate of Johnson High School, currently had been serving as assistant principal at the school. He began his career in education in August of 2007 as a physical education teacher at McEver Elementary School.  In July of 2013, he moved into education leadership as assistant principal at Flowery Branch Elementary School, later transferring to the same position at Oakwood. 

Boleman earned a Bachelor of Science and Physical Education Degree in 2007 from North Georgia College and State University (now the University of North Georgia). In 2010, he earned a Masters of Education from the University of North Georgia, and in 2016, he added a Specialist in Leadership from Valdosta State University.
