Gwinnett County authorities are looking for three suspects who burglarized or attempted to burglarize five gas stations in one night.

Gwinnett County Police Department detectives said all five crimes occurred on April 29 between 4:30 and 6 a.m.

The spree started at a Chevron Food Mart on Nelson Brogdon Blvd. in Buford, according to police reports. From there, the crew traveled to unincorporated Duluth and ended the crime spree in unincorporated Lilburn.

"The three suspects caused over $2,500 worth of damage to the stores and stole approximately $1,000 worth of cash and cigarettes," Gwinnett Police Cpl. Wilbert Rundles wrote in a press statement. "In each burglary, two suspects utilize a crowbar to smash glass to gain entry, while the third suspect waits in the vehicle."

Rundles said in two of the incidents, the suspects were unable to steal any items.

Rundles described the suspects as follows:

Rundles said the suspect vehicle is described as a black or dark gray 4-door sedan, possibly a Chrysler 300. In addition, detectives believe this crime spree is related to previous gas station burglaries in the area.

Anyone who has information to share in this case is asked to contact GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300. To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.  Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

Gwinnett County authorities are searching for the suspects who burglarized or attempted to burglarize five gas stations a week ago. While only two suspects are shown in these surveillance photos, police believe a third person was driving a getaway vehicle for the crew.
