The North Georgia Community Foundation is now accepting grant requests for projects funded through its Community Impact Fund, according to a press statement from the agency.
Nonprofit organizations located in the Community Foundation’s 15-county North Georgia service area may apply for funding. Application deadline is 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 30.
Funds are available for nonprofit organizations with projects designed to improve the quality of life in the region. The Community Impact Grant Program was established to enhance the spirit of community and quality of life by supporting the network of nonprofits that serve the North Georgia region.
The program awarded more than $46,950 to 16 organizations in 2017.
An online application is available at www.ngcf.org/communityimpact. To apply, nonprofits must create a login to the North Georgia Community Foundation’s grant application portal. Login requests may take up to 48 hours to be approved.
