FBHS Odyssey team wins World Championship

The Flowery Branch High School Odyssey of the Mind Team has won a World Championship in the 2018 Odyssey of the Mind (OM) World Finals. 

More than 800 teams from around the globe competed in the annual international event from May 23 through May 26 on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.  

In addition to Flowery Branch High School winning the Gold Medal, the Odyssey of the Mind team from World Language Academy earned the Bronze Medal with a 3rd Place finish in the World Finals. The FBHS OM Team finished in 1st Place for Problem 2--“Emoji, Speak for Yourself.”

Lydia Ebbs, Bella Carmosino, Kennedy Turpin, Lia Urbanek, Kailyn Neal, Siara Chavez and Ainsley Ray make up the team that won a World Championship at the 2018 Odyssey of the Mind competition in Ames, Iowa this month.
