White County's new Yonah Preserve Trails are finally open after rain delayed the opening a couple of weeks ago.
Yonah Preserve is a 1,000-acre outdoor recreation area on Albert Reid Road and includes a 50-acre lake.
About eight miles of trails have been completed to date. The goal is to eventually have 20 miles of trails.
A variety of trail users attended a recent "soft opening" of the facilities.
