The Hall County Planning Commission is scheduled to hear plans for 235 new homes in North Hall when it meets July 16.
Chavala, Incorporated wants to amend conditions for a Planned Residential Development on 48.34± acres located on the west side of Cool Springs Road near its intersection with Chestatee Road. Ninety-one residential lots are planned for the site.
Also on the planning board's agenda is an application from DR Horton, Inc. to rezone from Planned Commercial Development and Planned Residential Development to Planned Residential Development on 48.35± acres located on the north side of Price Road near Thompson Bridge Road. A 136-lot subdivision is planned there.
Meanwhile, Limestone Greenway LLC's proposal for development has been placed "on hold" at the developer's request, according to the county planning department. That project includes 252 multi-family units at Limestone and Jesse Jewell parkways.
In addition to the residential developments planned for North Hall and scheduled for consideration by the planning commission July 16, planners will also be asked to consider a proposal for a poultry processing plant for that part of the county.
Rochester & Associates is to present a proposal calling for the rezoning from Agricultural-Residential-III and Highway-Business to Planned Industrial Development and to amend an existing PID zoning on 87.85± acres located on the west side of Thompson Bridge Road, at its intersection with Hubert Stephens Road. A poultry processing plant and support facilities are proposed for that tract.
The planning commission meets at 5:15 at the county government center.
