More than a year after the crimes took place, Hall County authorities have arrested a Flowery Branch man in a series of entering auto cases.

Hall County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) spokesman Derreck Booth said deputies traveled to the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification State Prison in Jackson on Wednesday to arrest Michael Ross JR Holloman, 28, of Flowery Branch.

Holloman is implicated in several cases that occurred in the south end of Hall County between April 20, 2017 and May 10, 2017.

"Investigators believe Holloman entered seven vehicles and stole items including cash, checks, credit cards, purses and wallets," Booth said. "Investigators determined Holloman used a bank card stolen during one of the entering auto cases to purchase chocolate drinks, gasoline and lighters."

In addition, Holloman allegedly used a stolen check and deposited it into his bank account.

Holloman faces six counts of entering a car to steal and one count each of transaction card fraud and 4th degree forgery, according to Booth.

Holloman waived his committal hearing Thursday during his first court appearance on the charges and at last report, he remained in jail on an $18,100 bond.

The Gwinnett County Police Department confirmed Holloman was arrested for his involvement with nine entering auto cases in their county in 2017.

Breakdown of entering auto cases attributed to Holloman:

May 6, 2017 – Three vehicles at two addresses on Quail Pointe Drive

May 10, 2017 – One vehicle each at two addresses on Quailwood Drive

May 10, 2017 - One vehicle at a residence on Brookridge Drive

May 10, 2017 - One vehicle at an address on Wynfield Drive
