A Toccoa man, already charged with child molestation in Cornelia, is now jailed in Hall County for assaulting the same child.
Isaac Joseph Sgro, 22, was arrested early last month with a co-defendant for molesting a young girl in Cornelia.
Now, Sgro is facing charges of aggravated child molestation and child molestation for the assault of the same minor female child, according to investigators. The abuse took place over several years.
"Between June 30, 2013 and June 30, 2018, Sgro sexually molested a minor female child at a location in East Hall County," Sheriff's Lt. Scott Ware said in a press statement.
Deputies with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office arrested Sgro on July 24 at the Habersham County Detention Center and then booked him into the Hall County Jail. He is being held with no bond.
