A panel of government officials will sit down with Hall County residents on Monday night to give an update on several road projects going on in the Flowery Branch area.
While the meeting is sponsored by the South Hall Republican Club, along with some members of the Sterling on the Lake community, organizers say the meeting will not be political in nature.
Attendees will get an update on construction along Spout Springs Road, will learn when traffic lights will be installed at the intersections of Capitola Farm Road and Spouts Springs Road as well as Capitola Farm Road and Hog Mountain Road and find out more about planned improvements to Capitola Farm Road.
Citizens who have specific questions are able to submit them in advance by email to [email protected], entering the word 'Capitola' in the subject line. Attendees may also bring questions in writing to the meeting.
The panel answering questions includes:
- Kathy Cooper, Hall County Commissioner, District 1
- Ken Reardon, Hall County Public Works Director
- Srikanth Yamala, Hall County Planning and Development Director
- Mike Miller, Mayor of Flowery Branch
- Matt Cox, Director of Facilities for the Hall County School District
The town hall is scheduled for Monday, August 6 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at Flowery Branch City Hall.
