Gainesville City School students and teachers opened the books on a brand new school year Wednesday, August 8.

While all schools in the system were up and running early, the focus was on Enota Multiple Intelligences Academy (or Enota Elementary), since the school building is brand new this year. The old school, which sat on the same property, was razed to make way for the new $17 million structure.

Enjoy the photos of the new Enota - taken by AccessWDUN's Marc Eggers.

We also invite parents to submit first-day photos to us at [email protected], and we'll include those in our photo gallery, as well.
