Come September, the Hall County Library System will add Saturday hours for the two northern branches of the library system.
Both the Murrayville Branch and the North Hall Tech Center will now be open half days each Saturday starting Sept. 1, according to a statement from Library Director Lisa MacKinney.
The new schedule will be:
- Monday 10 a.m.- 8 p.m.
- Tuesday 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
- Wednesday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Thursday 10 a.m.- 8 p.m.
- Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Saturday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. (Murrayville Branch)
- Saturday 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. (North Hall)
The new operating hours give patrons an additional 300+ hours per year to use the library system, according to MacKinney.
