JEFFERSON — After two weeks of living with a season-opening loss, Jefferson football was more than ready for Friday night’s showdown with West Hall.
That included Dragons junior standout Kade McNally.
The running back/linebacker rushed for 35 yards and two touchdowns, made 13 tackles — one for loss and a sack — recovered two fumbles, and blocked a Spartans kick to help spark a 48-6 victory for Jefferson.
For his efforts, McNally has been named the Conditioned Air Service Athlete of the Week.
After moving to 1-1 on the season, the Dragons are now looking forward to the rest of the campaign, including McNally, who says the sky is the limit for Jefferson.
Friday Game Night and AccessWDUN sports editor Morgan Lee recently caught up with McNally to talk about his big night, Jefferson’s rebound win and what the future holds for the Dragons.
