JEFFERSON — It was a long time in coming, but Jefferson football certainly enjoyed its first use of a rennovated Memorial Stadium on Friday.

The Dragons pushed past Southside (South Carolina) 31-7 after the unveil of their new fieldhouse in what was their first home contest of the 2018 campaign.

Colby Clark did much of the damage, rushing 16 times for 114 yards and 3 touchdowns while also passing for 50 yards. Kade McNally also scored ona  6-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

Jefferson finished with 337 total yards -- 287 of that on the ground -- while holding Southside to 221 total, 116 of that passing.

The Dragons (2-1) will play host to Gainesville next week.
