*The Campus Gate Art Gallery at Young Harris College presents the works of Karen Schwartz. The exhibit will open Thursday, Jan. 24 with a reception at 6 p.m. Schwartz’s exhibit will be on display through Friday, Mar. 1 during regular gallery hours (Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.). The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.

Schwartz is a practicing clinical psychologist and psychotherapist who finds that these pursuits inform her artwork in fascinating, sometimes subconscious ways, and that her creative processes offer curious insights into her work in psychotherapy.

“We are super excited to have the work of Karen Schwartz at the Campus Gate Art Gallery,” said CGAG Director Jake Bennett. “Though she produces work inspired by various subjects, this show addresses current events and politics, particularly concerning the ‘Me Too’ movement.”

The CGAG is located at 5149 College Street on the YHC campus. For more information, contact the CGAG at (706) 379-5114.
