Georgia Department of Transportation crews plan to work on the Browns Bridge replacement project for two days this week, and that will mean delays for motorists.
Today from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. a single lane closure will allow the continued construction of the new SR 369 Browns Bridge.
Also this week, on Thursday night, one lane across the bridge will close from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. Friday morning. This overnight closure will allow the construction of a concrete footing that will support the new bridge.
The construction work will take place weather permitting.
