A job fair designed especially for veterans is scheduled for next month in Gainesville.
The Georgia Department of Labor is partnering with Veteran’s Services to host the event on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at the Gainesville Career Center at 2756 Atlanta Highway in Gainesville. The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Organizers are encouraging job seekers to visit employgeorgia.com ahead of the job fait to create an account. Job seekers will be able to prepare and submit a resume via the site. Having an Employ Georgia account expedites the interview process.
Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes, driver’s licenses and dress business casual to improve their chances to be hired.
