Nine Hall County students have been selected as finalists or alternates for this year's Georgia Governor's Honors Program.
The residential summer program is for gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors. Administered by the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement, it takes place at Berry College in Rome.
Over 3,200 students from across the state applied and nearly 1,600 students were interviewed and auditioned in February as part of the selection process.
