An East Hall County man has been arrested in the sexual molestation of a 7-year-old girl.
Hall County Sheriff's Lt. Scott Ware said investigators arrested 53-year-old Jesus Aponte-Rodriguez on Thursday, April 4.
"Family members of the victim in this case called the sheriff's office to report that the victim - a female child - had been sexually molested," Ware said.
Investigators believe the molestation occurred between January 2018 and April 2019. Ware said the child is believed to have been molested multiple times.
Ware said victim and Aponte-Rodriguez were acquainted with one another.
The suspect faces charges of child molestation and aggravated child molestation. As of Tuesday morning, Aponte-Rodriguez remained in jail.
