At Monday's Hall County School Board work session, Superintendent Will Schofield will recommend candidates for top leadership positions at East Hall Middle School and North Hall Middle School.
Schofield will recommend Dr. Jeffrey Chandler to take the helm as East Hall Middle School Principal. Currently, he serves as Associate Principal at Sugar Hill Elementary School. Chandler received his Bachelor of Science degree in Administrative and Management Studies from Excelsior College in New York, New York. He also holds a Masters Degree from the University of Colorado and Educational Specialist and Doctorate of Education degrees from Liberty University. Prior to his employment with the Hall County School District, Chandler held positions with Georgia Military College Prep School and Riverside Military Academy.
Kristin Finley, who has served as Principal at East Hall Middle since June 1, 2015, will be recommended as the new North Hall Middle School Principal. Finley, who earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, had advanced degrees from Piedmont College and Columbus State University. She has been an educator since 1991.
Finley will replace Tamara Etterling, who was recently announced as the incoming Director of Student Service for the district. Etterling is replacing Mr. Steve McDaniel, who is retiring at the end of the current school year.
The Hall County School Board work session is scheduled for 5 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2019 at Cherokee Bluff High School Learning Commons at 6603 Spouts Springs Road, Suite A in Flowery Branch.
