"The victim called 911 and a BOLO was placed on Fleming's vehicle and deputies were able to find him and stop him, recover the firearm and he was arrested and charged with aggravated assault," Ware said. He said Fleming was arrested without incident on the highway at Jaemor Farm Market.
Ware said deputies believe Fleming became angry after the woman allegedly cut him off in traffic. After he pointed the .45-caliber semi-automatic pistol at her, Fleming continued to follow the woman through traffic, according to Ware.
"There were two other individuals in the car with the victim, a minor child and another adult, but no one was injured," Ware said.
Ware said Fleming and the victim did not know each other.
