A garage and several vehicles were destroyed by fire Tuesday morning at a business off Atlanta Highway in Hall County.

Hall County Fire Services Division Chief Zachary Brackett said fire crews were called to Moreno's Auto Care on Fredrick Street around 2 a.m.

"Arriving units found a 1,000 square-foot garage with heavy fire involvement with multiple cars involved with fire outside of the structure as well," Brackett said in an email statement. "The fire was extinguished within 30 minutes and all units returned to service."

Brackett said the Hall County Fire Marshal was able to link the fire to a burn barrel that had been used at the business on Monday.

"Video evidence shows the fire in the burn barrel reigniting and then spreading to surrounding vehicles before spreading to the structure itself," Brackett said.

No one was injured.
