Pamela Logan, who served as director for District 2 Public Health, resigned from her position late last week.
Dave Palmer, spokesperson for District 2, confirmed that Logan resigned Thursday, September 24 and that “no reason was given for the resignation.”
Logan was appointed director in November 2016.
As of today, Logan’s photo and information were listed on the website for district directors. Her background includes a BA in biology from Spelman College and medical degree from Howard University. Prior to her position with Public Health, she served in the United States Public Health Service as a medical epidemiologist.
Palmer said that Zachary Taylor, who currently serves as director for District 1-2, will serve as interim director for District 2.
